The Literary Agency of Laure Merle d'Aubigné represents French and German language publishers for selling translation rights into the Spanish and Portuguese language markets. Laure Merle d'Aubigné also represents authors, mostly Spanish, worldwide. Laure Merle d’Aubigné joined A.C.E.R. Literary Agency in 1986 as manager of their French authors. In 1989, she became owner of both the French and German departments which are now managed by Catherine Passion and Isabel Piedrahita respectively.

The agency introduced and continues to promote a large number of French-speaking authors, among them: Eliette Abécassis, Jean-Claude Carrière, Didier van Cauwelert, Philippe Claudel, Colette, Copi, Sylvie Germain, Jean-Christophe Grangé, Julien Green, Christian Jacq, Linda Lé, Frédéric Lenoir, Lévi-Strauss, Amin Maalouf, Irène Némirovsky, Amélie Nothomb, Katherine Pancol, Georges Perec, Yasmina Reza, Françoise Sagan, Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt, Sempé & Goscinny (Le petit Nicolas), Fred Vargas, Boris Vian, Bernard Werber and arabic language authors like Naguib Mahfuz, Alaa Al Aswany.
