Psychologist, psychoanalyst and writer, Lola López Mondéjar (Murcia, 1958) has had several books published among which an entertaining and erotic novel entitled Lenguas vivas (Living Tongues) and a collection of short stories, El pensamiento mudo de los peces (The dumb thinking of fish). Her novel Mi amor desgraciado (My Ill-fated Love) was shortlisted for the Torrente Ballester Narrative Prize 2009.
